Funded Weekly

From public SEC Form D filings

A weekly list of the companies that just raised money

Funded Weekly is a weekly list of newly funded companies, built from public SEC Form D filings. Every week we sort the new filings by state and turn them into one clean, easy-to-read list.

Each entry shows the company, city, industry and amount sold as filed, with a link to the original SEC filing. We cover operating companies only, from startups to family businesses, starting with Texas, New York, Florida, Massachusetts and Colorado.

Who it's for

For people who work with growing companies

  • B2B sales teams

A company that just raised money is often ready to buy new tools and services.

  • Agencies

Fresh funding often goes into marketing, design and product work.

  • Service providers

Accountants, lenders, insurance brokers and IT firms can spot growing local businesses early.

  • Recruiters

Money raised is often money set aside for hiring.

  • People tracking new raises

Anyone who follows private funding can see each week's new raises in one place.

How it works

From SEC filing to weekly list

  1. 1. We read the filings

Each week we collect the new Form D filings published on the SEC's EDGAR system.

  2. 2. We sort them

We set aside funds, real estate and oil and gas filings, so the list covers operating companies only.

  3. 3. We organize by state

We group the remaining companies by state and rank them by the amount sold, as filed.

  4. 4. We publish the list

Each weekly list covers the previous Monday to Sunday, and every company links to its SEC filing.

About the data

Public data, clearly sourced

Our source is SEC Form D filings on EDGAR, the SEC's public filing system. A Form D is a short notice a company files with the SEC after it first sells securities in certain private offerings. Not every private raise files one.

We show amounts and other details as the companies filed them. Filings can contain errors, and we don't independently verify them. A Form D is a notice of an exempt offering, not an SEC approval, and nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice.
